will be under going £160,000 pounds of remedial work over the next three months,not sure why its Nathional highways is responsible.

This the first time in fifteen years the viaduct has undergone remedial work.

MIGHT get some film footage on the local news channels.

National Highways took over all the residuary British Rail bridges and the like some years ago and are responsible for their care and maintenance.
They have been in the spotlight recently with their filling in a number of bridges on toutes which may have another use. It has been a hot topic on Twitter for some time, led by the HRE group, the Historical Railway Estate group.

I cycled under it a couple of weeks ago. It looked like repointing work was under way at several points on the outside of the parapet.

Bearing in mind that the volunteer-led GlosWarks Railway are planning to spend £1M on Stanway viaduct (lots of it on contractors, I know, but the volunteers will be doing a lot of the work), this £160,000 figure won't be buying all that much by way of repairs, I'm thinking
