Should be fairly easy ;) (https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/ww255/PhilWakely/WherewasI-28022023.jpg) OK time for a couple of clues..... - the car is driving on the Right, but the location is in the UK; - the track gauge is not standard! Post by: PhilWakely on February 28, 2023, 21:56:51 Exeter, Hele Road Bingo! Spot on. Work to resurface part of the road revealed the original cobbled base and rails of the 3' 6" gauge Exeter Corporation Tramway route down to St David's station. The cylindrical fence post to the right of the picture was the base of one of the overhead wire posts. Post by: PrestburyRoad on February 28, 2023, 22:15:52 In a similar vein, the work to resurface the road that climbs up Cleeve Hill from Cheltenham a few years ago revealed the rails of the Cheltenham Corporation tram line. The remains were was covered up again and no doubt will be uncovered again when the road is next given a deep resurfacing.
