Title: The railway, the passenger, and Twitter Post by: Mark A on November 18, 2022, 11:28:26 Railway industry Twitter has often been the best Twitter. The railways were early adopters. The best (both on the infrastructure side and from the TOCs) have empowered dedicated staff to make effective use of Twitter and this has been to the mutual benefit of the railway and its passengers. Should Twitter implode, I'm hoping that the people employed in relation to this platform and the skills built by them don't go on the bonfire in the process.
Mark PS Just counting that to see if it falls within a 240 character limit... Did you mean to tweet: Rail industry Twitter is oft the best; rail was early adopter. T enables dedicated infrastructure & TOC staff to make good use for both railway & passengers. If T fails, I hope that the people employed & the skill built aren't lost. Today, the further north they are, the more they'll likely be donning floatation aids and checking the sump pumps.
