Title: New statistics from ORR
Post by: CyclingSid on May 19, 2022, 09:53:01
ORR have released to-day "Common Safety Indicators - Assessment of achievement of safety targets for 2020"

This is the first time ORR has conducted this assessment and published this report. This is a statistical assessment and does not include wider commentary about safety performance.
It was previously done by the EU.

Figures are only at national level. The basic data can be found at https://dataportal.orr.gov.uk/media/2059/table-5300-common-safety-indicators.ods (https://dataportal.orr.gov.uk/media/2059/table-5300-common-safety-indicators.ods)

Interestingly the corresponding EU document suggests that there might be a possible deterioration in safety performance in eigh out of the 25 states.
