I'll not mention the answer because I don't want to spoil the fun for people who like to get the answer by their own pure knowledge and reasoning - and because I feel that googling to discover the answer is kind of cheating.
Title: Re: Where was I today - 14 May 22 Post by: johnneyw on May 15, 2022, 12:04:42 I first thought about Havenstreet IoW where the steam railway now have one of Island Line's recently retired old stock units but the livery doesn't look quite right.
Thanks, this will remain a bee in my bonnet this afternoon.....may have to resort to a little Googling myself. Title: Re: Where was I today - 14 May 22 Post by: bobm on May 15, 2022, 12:11:20 Not the Isle of Wight I'm afraid.
Title: Re: Where was I today - 14 May 22 Post by: paul7575 on May 15, 2022, 12:29:54 Epping-Ongar 1959 stock?
Title: Re: Where was I today - 14 May 22 Post by: bobm on May 15, 2022, 12:34:56 I'll give you that - North Weald station on the heritage Epping Ongar Railway.
See here (http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=26356.0) for my report on the visit. Title: Re: Where was I today - 14 May 22 Post by: paul7575 on May 15, 2022, 12:40:57 It was the fact it was only a single car in amongst other types of mainline sized stock that jogged my memory. For some reason it made me remember an online discussion about its delivery, not that long ago really, as it seems to have only been in 2018?
