Title: Extra stop added to 'fast' services from the Westcountry?
Post by: PhilWakely on April 12, 2022, 15:29:48
I travelled from Newton Abbot to Exeter St Davids earlier today on 1A84 (10:15 Penzance 12:15 Plymouth to London Paddington) - a 5 vice 9-car set.

It would appear that an extra stop had been added to the schedule. Apologies for the very poor quality phone picture, but it would have been interesting viewing the 'Next stop Clink Road Jn' scrolling message after Taunton  ;D

Did the digital voice announce it as well or just leave a gap?

I didn't hear any automated announcements during the 20 minutes I was on board.

Given that the digital voice still doesn't appear to know "Worcestershire Parkway" I suspect Clink Road Junction might be pushing it!

That’s a corrupted sound file that’s allegedly being sorted out by May bank holiday weekend, but it’s very poor that over two years after the station opened it’s still not working correctly.
