The first Upwey station (closed 1886) was on the main line to Weymouth north of the current Upwey station (originally called Upwey Junction) which opened in 1886 http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/u/upwey/ 2 was the site of Wishing Well Halt, about 1.4km from the Wishing Well itself.
