Title: Unusual workings - abnormal terminals Post by: grahame on August 31, 2021, 11:08:41 Some really interesting workings around at the moment
Quote 09:16 Totnes to Bedminster due 11:19 An additional train service has been planned to operate as shown 09:16 Totnes to Bedminster due 11:19. Any more trains running from a station where nothing terminates in a normal timetable, to a destination where (also) nothing normally terminates? Title: Re: Unusual workings - abnormal terminals Post by: PhilWakely on September 01, 2021, 18:02:04 I recall, a few years ago, when there were engineering works in the Salisbury area on a Sunday, the first down Gillingham to Exeter St Davids terminated at Pinhoe due to an incident in the Exeter Central area. The service then returned as a Pinhoe to Tisbury service. That was the only occurrence that day as all other services ran from Exeter Central to Tisbury.
