Title: Twyford to Carmarthen - no tickets available Post by: Sixty3Closure on August 19, 2021, 12:06:29 Not sure how I upload an image but just tried to book a ticket from Twyford to Carmarthen on the 23rd of August and there is apparently only one train running all day.
Every other service other than the direct Reading train has no tickets available. Is there something happening that day? Or a glitch in the matrix? Edit: And no trains at all on the 24th August apparently Title: Re: Twyford to Carmarthen - no tickets available Post by: ChrisB on August 19, 2021, 12:13:59 National Rail journey planner has plenty of services, commencing at 0414 thru to 2101.
Title: Re: Twyford to Carmarthen - no tickets available Post by: Sixty3Closure on August 19, 2021, 12:20:11 Thanks - sadly I rushed into buying a ticket on the one train that GWR said had tickets.
Guess there's a fault in the GWR database somewhere. Looking at how to contact them it seems to be by social media only which I suspect is a whole thread on its own. Title: Re: Twyford to Carmarthen - no tickets available Post by: ChrisB on August 19, 2021, 12:24:21 In my experience, that is working pretty well.
It may be that they're still selling reservations only & if full, no further seats can be offered. But you would need to enquire. The app is offering 0345 7000 125 too Title: Re: Twyford to Carmarthen - no tickets available Post by: Sixty3Closure on August 19, 2021, 12:40:55 No services at all for that route on GWR.com which hopefully means something is being updated.
Couldn't find a number on the desktop web site so I'll file that one away for future use.
