Last thursday the HST was replaced by an Adelante and it was packed by Charlbury and standing from Oxford to London. Glad I wasnt on todays train.

(21/04/2008) Post by: willc on April 21, 2008, 13:17:28 I was on it today, seats available as far as Oxford, as school holidays are over, some good driving (aided by a bit of padding) got it back on time after leaving Evesham eight late. Not a problem from my point of view - it was a train and got me where I wanted to go on time Taxis or buses are a problem!
Reason for no HST was crew problems in London first thing, so a train was turned out by Reading depot instead. This later change may pose more of a problem though... 11:51 London Paddington to Hereford due 14:58 This train will be started from Oxford.It will no longer call at: London Paddington, Slough and Reading.This train will run short formed with 2 carriages.This is due to a train fault.
