Title: Where did I take this from Post by: TonyN on November 10, 2020, 22:22:00 The picture subject is obvious but where did I take it from?
(https://i.ibb.co/N1rjNDY/Bridge.png) Also which station did I walk from using only one form of free public transport. Picture taken in September 2019 Title: Re: Where did I take this from Post by: PhilWakely on November 10, 2020, 22:40:52 The jetty close to the Wilcove Inn.
You walked from Devonport station and used the Torpoint Ferry. Title: Re: Where did I take this from Post by: TonyN on November 10, 2020, 22:54:21 It is indeed.
Made a very good day out. I had lunch at the Wilcove inn and then walked on to Antony house and woodland garden. Took the bus back to Plymouth. Title: Re: Where did I take this from Post by: stuving on November 10, 2020, 23:25:44 I was going to say you took it from Google Street View. That's almost the same viewpoint, but it lacks the resolution of yours.

Getting to this one involved a bus and a ferry that I had to pay on. (https://i.ibb.co/PtjBKVC/Bridge2.png) Where is this one taken from? Picture taken April 2019 Title: Re: Where did I take this from Post by: johnneyw on November 11, 2020, 00:52:08 Looking down on Millbrook from the south?
Title: Re: Where did I take this from Post by: TonyN on November 11, 2020, 09:31:32 Quote Looking down on Millbrook from the south? Correct. I took the Citybus service to the Cremyl ferry. After crossing over to Mount Edgcombe I walked to Maker Church and the cafe at Maker hights. After lunch I walked down to Anderton, Insworke Quay and Millbrook. Then back to the ferry along the south side of Millbrook lake via Empacombe quay to Cremyl ferry.
