I usually travel between Reading and Paddington on a monthly season ticket. As I was due to go on holiday at the end of next week I decided to get a weekly ticket this time. Forgetfully I then went and threw my old monthly season ticket away - realising as I arrived at Paddington this morning that I probably need it to get the discount on my next monthly season ticket! Does anyone know if you are still entitled to the renewal discount on a monthly season ticket if you lose your last one? Are records kept where they can confirm your last purchase. Should I write to FGW explaining what has happened? I'd be grateful for any advice on the best course of action to take. Thanks! Boppy. Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. However, we have many members here (FGW staff and other passengers!) who are 'experts' on ticketing, so I'm sure you'll get an answer! :) Title: Re: Discount on season ticket renewal after losing last one? Post by: swlines on April 10, 2008, 15:41:39 If you purchased a monthly season then a record should be held on when you purchased the season and its validity period - I'd suggest going to a ticket office to clarify it.
