It has been delayed between Pewsey and Frome and is now 11 minutes late. This is due to a points failure. and this morning ... Quote Alterations to services between Castle Cary and Pewsey Due to a points failure between Castle Cary and Pewsey the line towards London Paddington is blocked. Train services running through these stations will be diverted. Westbury will not be served. Disruption is expected until 11:00 02/10. Perhaps adding to case for improvements to the line between Central and Yeovil. For sure things go wrong, but how long should a fix to modern equipment take?
