Title: Trial Staffing For Filton Abbey Wood
Post by: Lee on April 08, 2008, 22:31:08
FOSBR has been informed that a member of FGW staff will be present at Filton Abbey Wood station occasionally over the next few weeks dealing with the ticket office and providing customer assistance.

Just like when it was first opened then - I used FIT regularly back in the spring of 1996, there was a little hut on Platform 1 which was always manned at peak times.

Yes it is I who posted this on the FOSBR group, spoke to a gentleman yesterday afternoon who said it was a trial. Have popped a message off to Andrew Griffiths to see if he can provide more information. Together with a ^400,000 investment in other local stations I think this is real good news.
