Title: Chris Dale - Chair of TravelWatch NorthWest - RIP Post by: grahame on July 01, 2020, 10:13:29 I am very sad to report that Chris Dale, chair or TravelWatch NorthWest, passed away very suddenly last Monday. Chris was with us at TWSW at our zoom seminar just a couple of weeks ago.

He was always approachable and encouraging, Chris’s passion for keeping people connected was accompanied by a humour which made his voice welcome across the sector. TWSW had recently enjoyed his company through the webinar series. Having his experience to draw upon was a bonus, and Despite living in Macclesfield, Chris similarly supported us through regular General Meeting attendance. I too have fond memories of Chris - we have lost one of the best. His Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/chris.dale.100483 ) includes a post and follow up of condolences and funeral details. I will miss seeing Chris at TWSW meetings and elsewhere, and miss his mine of information on buses and sharing of countrywide stories and issues that have helped inform us all.
