Title: Sunday services to return Post by: bobm on June 10, 2020, 09:54:37 According to information received from GWR yesterday regarding the next stage of the timetable restoration from 6th July "Melksham Line Sunday services are largely restored, for now we (GWR) will not be able to offer a Sunday service to Weymouth, but this is under review".
From that date GWR will be running around 84% of its pre virus timetable with the aim of getting to nearly 100% by 14th September. Among the other changes in July will be the re-introduction of half hourly Paddington to Bristol services and the morning south coast service to Brighton and most weekday Weymouth services restored. Title: Re: Sunday services to return Post by: IndustryInsider on June 10, 2020, 12:54:53 Hopefully staffing numbers will be solid enough to provide 84% of the service* - it has certainly been able to provide the current level of service with quite a bit of slack left over. I think the biggest risk is if a staff member becomes infected and contact tracing leads to several of his/her colleagues to need to self-isolate as a result.
