Tim Jones , the DCBC's chairman said more rail services were needed to prevent overcrowding problems. "The government has not recognised the extent of our need because of the remote nature of our region and the challenges facing car travel," he said. It would also be good to possibly extend the Exeter-Paddington stoppers to perhaps call Dawlish, Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and then off to Paignton/Plymouth.
