Thank you for your kind thoughts, there was another programme at 17:00pm on Quest.

It was demolishing the Network rails staff mess room, just a short distance from Stafford station.

Half the programme was at Stafford station and other half was moving a redundant typhoon plane.

As I have said earlier, this will only be posted while we are in lock down,

Soon as it okay to go outside,I shall be out and about.

Noted.  And your help in feeding the forum during lockdown is hugely appreciated - Thank You.

Doing something once or twice is very different to doing it every day, which you are doing for us at the moment; while in lockdown it's especially valuable ... once we're all able to travel again (a) we understand you won't have the resource and (b) the TV will have a lesser value than the key role it has at the moment.

A very warm forum "Hello and welcome" to layclerk54.
Hopefully during lockdown you will be able to find your way around the forum - there is an awful lot to see!
Don't hesitate to post anything, either as a new subject, or in reply to something.
Sit back and enjoy  ;D

A late edition for yesterday which was on Channel 4 at 21:00:

'Paul Hollywood Eats Japan' Ep.2
https://www.channel4.com/programmes/paul-hollywood-eats-japan/on-demand/69043-002 (https://www.channel4.com/programmes/paul-hollywood-eats-japan/on-demand/69043-002) (available for the next 36 days)

I watched it last night - in the first part of the programme, Paul takes a trip on a Shinkansen bullet train where he meets a renowned Japanese railfan and they sample some 'Ekiben' - boxed meals sold at stations for onboard consumption.

I do scroll through the programmes on freeview on the relevant day around 6am.

I am only as good as the programme is described,so that why I missed the meal on the Japanese bullet train (1 of 2 programmes?)

I presume the one on wednesday night is 2 of 2 of the same series?

It's a three-part series which is primarily centred around food in Japan. The first episode was aired last week with the final one next Tuesday. There were no trains in the first one, I only mentioned last night's episode as the section with the bullet trains was quite long, it lasted at least a few minutes.
