Title: Railfuture National Conference, Salisbury, 5th July 2008 Post by: grahame on March 30, 2008, 14:22:41 The Mayor of Old Sarum (Salisbury) (designate), Cllr Mrs Iris Evans, has agreed to open the Conference.
Guest speakers include: Former BR manager and writer on rail matters, Peter Rainer Stakeholder Relations Manager, South West Trains, Phil Dominey. There will also be "How to succeed" presentations from campaigners, including: Bruce williamson on Using the Media Graham Ellis on Trans Wilts Campaigners from Severnside, Wessex, Devon & Cornwall and Thames Valley. (I attended this conference in Ely last year and found it very interesting and useful. The "2008 National Rail Users' Conference" is being held this year in Salisbury, on Saturday 5 July 2008. This is an excellent opportunity to hear speakers such as Phil Dominey (Stakeholder relations manager, South West Trains), Peter Rayner (former BR Manager and writer on Rail Matters and a whole host of others, and to meet a range of other rail users, advocates and campaigners.
