Title: New MPs - South Western Railway served constituencies Post by: grahame on December 17, 2019, 20:22:07 Chris Loder, formerly (I assume that) with SWT / SWR was elected as the Conservative MP for Dorset West last week. Congratulations, Chris. As the 'key name' behind SWT/SWR's extra trains around Yeovil Junction to Pen Mill, Frome, Westbury and Salisbury, and I think the Corfe Castle service, Chris has already had quite an upward influence in the area.
Now - if he can get an overdue service improvement on the HoW and help his colleague Andrew Murrison persuade SWT to stop at Dilton Marsh (( got as far as RTT feeds, but sadly pulled )) there will be a lot of people really thankful.
