Title: Central livered 158 at BTM
Post by: spike on March 28, 2008, 00:53:14
Saw this out of the corner of my eye this evening parked up on a siding near the old parcelforce building, anyone know what it's doing there?

I dont know, did you get a number?

There are currently 20 Central-livered 158's with East Midlands Trains at Nottingham and 4 Central-livered 158's with Northern Rail at Neville Hill.

No 158's are listed as being in storage.

Could be on route to SWT for repairs at Salisbury - 1 has been down there in the last few weeks - and went back 2 weeks ago.

No I didn't get a number, just wondered if we were going to get more capacity but perhaps not going on what Jim has said!

Apologies for going off topic slightly but I remember ATW used to have one, or possibly a few, ex Central trains 158'S.  They remained in the green livery for quite some time. Not sure if they were refurbished or sold on to another company?
