Title: Bluewater comes to Frome Post by: grahame on August 10, 2019, 14:38:24 Sorry - not a transport topic but it is in the West. From The BBC (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-49305056). Perhaps it should go in "The Lighter side" since
Quote It said it was treating it as a suspected "pollution incident" but there were no reports of dead wildlife. Title: Re: Bluewater comes to Frome Post by: Clan Line on August 10, 2019, 21:08:43 .........obviously just "algae bluemmm".
Title: Re: Bluewater comes to Frome Post by: martyjon on August 10, 2019, 21:57:27 Probably someone threw a box of Reckitts Blues into the stream like the jokers do into the water fountains in Bristol City Centre from time to time but its not only blue but cake and icing colourings of various colours too. I've seen green, purple, yellow, orange, pink and red in them fountains and to add a bit entertainment too a 500ml container of Fairy Washing Up liquid produces a coloured foam as well. No wonder the fountains are turned off so much recently.
