Title: Platforms 6/7 at Paddington (Dec 19) Post by: Adelante_CCT on August 06, 2019, 11:25:22 Is it correct that from December it appears that Heathrow Express services will only be using Platform 7 predominantly, with regular GWR services utilising Platform 6?
This would of course mean the end of a long layover of the Heathrow services whereby when you turn up at Paddington at the moment, a service should always be at a platform for you to board. If this is the case could this be a temporary measure until more platforms are freed up when Crossrail trains can finally be routed through the tunnel (Yes I know data feeds are still to be updated before December but an awful lot of regular services have been pencilled in to Platform 6 which wouldn't normally be the case, and at certain busy times of the day it does appear that all available platforms would need to be utilised) Title: Re: Platforms 6/7 at Paddington (Dec 19) Post by: IndustryInsider on August 06, 2019, 11:49:10 In simple terms, yes, yes and yes. :D
