Title: Re: 6th November 2019 - ACoRP Annual General Meeting Post by: grahame on November 08, 2019, 12:44:05 From my email - a circular release from ACoRP:
Quote We’re pleased to announce that this week’s ACoRP AGM and board meeting resulted in some key decisions, which we think will help to further strengthen our organisation and help it to more powerfully advocate for and support community rail. * The AGM passed a motion for eligibility to stand for our board, and voting rights at AGMs, to be extended across all our members, including station adopters. * Two new board members were elected: Daisy Chapman-Chamberlain (Community Rail Lancashire) and Neville Jephcote (Marston Vale CRP). Richard Burningham and Tim Sparrow were re-elected. We extend our thanks to two long-serving, incredibly dedicated and knowledgeable board members who stepped down: Richard Watts and David Edwards. * The board agreed unanimously to proceed with a rebrand. We will keep you informed over the coming months, with a preview at the Community Rail Conference in March, and our new brand going live in April. * Quarterly updates from the chair and chief executive of ACoRP in Community Rail News. I don't want to prejudge things but I'm pretty certain that we won't go for "I can't believe it's not ACoRP".
