I was Project Engineer for the Axminster Resignalling back in 2008/9 and laid out the concept design for the panel.  I have contacted the group to offer my assistance.

Would certainly get in contact with the Swindon Panel group. We do have a working panel at Moors Valley Railway, though it is not simulated, it controls real trains with live passengers on board, with all the same problems, such as unrully passsengers, through to leaves on the line.
