Just catching up with this particular topic, paul7755 has described exactly why there is no option to start a new topic on this particular board: any new topics may be started on either of the new boards. Unfortunately, as I do any such splitting in my 'spare time', it sometimes doesn't get completed as soon as I'd like - but this is a timely reminder that I need to complete this particular task.
