Yes ... a good answer.  Locomotive numbers from 2-2-0, 2-4-0, 2-6-0, 2-8-0 and you have given me Evening Star, a 2-10-0.

Can you tell us more about the 2-2-0 No.737?

Build by the London and South Western Railway class C14 in 1906, 737 only ran until Dec 1917 when it was sold to the Admiralty.

I've been scratching my head about this one for hours. If Whelan is correct then .... I'm still scratching my head. I think Adams, Rix and Brady started leading me in the wrong direction.

Same here. Whelan was also a well known player but not a Gooner.

Edit: It seems that there was a Norman who briefly played for Arsenal around the time of the First World War.
