Title: Stormy weather, 29th July 2018
Post by: JayMac on July 29, 2018, 07:26:53
The West Country is taking a bit of battering at the moment. 50+mph winds in exposed areas with gusts up to 70. Heavy rain falling and forecast to continue until late afternoon with electrical storms in the mix too.

I've just been looking at the Dawlish webcams and the sea is looking a little angry there with the southerly wind blowing onshore. High tide in the next hour, but fortunately, being a Sunday there aren't any CrossCountry Voyagers due along the sea wall until around 10am. Tide should be ebbing then.

Much the same, not surprisingly, at Teignmouth (http://www.teignmouth-nci.org.uk/live-webcam).

Perfect for an IET test run along the sea wall then  ;)
