Title: May 2018 Timetable Post by: Gordon the Blue Engine on May 09, 2018, 12:22:16 From the start of the new electric service in January there have been some welcome additional semi-fast up services in the morning peak, calling all stations Didcot - Maidenhead then fast to Padd. However, from the start of the new timetable one of these, 1P17 0810 Didcot - Padd, departs 2 minutes earlier and then inexplicably sits in Reading for 22 minutes and arrives in Padd 15 minutes later than now.
So it becomes useless as a through service to Padd for passengers from Cholsey - Tilehurst. Shame that a useful new service gets knocked on the head so soon.
