so does anyone know what all the work at westbury is all about?

the area on left as you come in to westbury from frome, there seems to be a lot of clearing up going on just wondering if it is fgw's doing and if so what for?

Could you be a bit more specific about the location? Was it on the inside of the curve as you come into Westbury (past the EWS stone sidings on the left) or was it closer to the station itself (alongside the car dealership etc)?

Hmm, Part of the site is used by EWS and part by Network Rail; I'm still not exactly clear which is affected - will have a look by the end of the week if somebody else hasn't answered in the meantime.
