21:49 Exeter St Davids to Taunton due 22:21

21:49 Exeter St Davids to Taunton due 22:21 will be diverted from Taunton and terminated at Bristol Temple Meads.
It will call additionally at Weston-super-Mare.
It will be delayed at Weston-super-Mare by 6 minutes, will be further delayed at Bristol Temple Meads and is expected to be 8 minutes late.
This is due to a problem currently under investigation.

Appeared twice on RTT; wasn't apparently delayed at WSM and was 2 minutes early at Bristol West Jn. Arrival at Temple Meads was not recorded.

On Tiger, was shown as:
Quote
Expected: Delayed
Last report: Arrived at Bristol Temple Meads

Looking at the log of messages from the Temple Meads TD, there was a step into platform 6 for 2M72 at 23:08:41.

I think this was a planning foul up due to alterations (terminating Taunton) for Engineering Work which "wasn't" so they have to put it back in as a "special" due to the system capabilities.

Apologies - but what does this mean?
Sounds intriguing?
