Title: Re: Mark Carne to Retire later in 2018 Post by: Electric train on February 06, 2018, 18:06:40 Mark Carne is a customer focused CEO knowing its not just the TOC n FOC that are the customer but the travelling public, he also holds work force safety dear to his heart, as such Mark Carne I believe has been a very good CEO for Network Rail he has fought a number of "political" battles with the Government. His payoff will not be a grandiose as a CEO of a private sector company NR is a public sector company, as such has limits set by the Government, also he doesn't have big juicy share options as part of his remuneration.
