Title: What's wrong with this fare? Post by: JayMac on October 18, 2017, 18:30:48 Just been looking at some times and fares. This is bookable, but what's wrong?

Title: Re: What's wrong with this fare? Post by: JayMac on October 18, 2017, 21:34:22 Not just the booking engines...
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/search/advanced/SOU/2017/12/25/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=pax-calls&order=wtt (https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B8VBuNEcQ7EgZ2V5ZmVjYmtoeHM) Now, with booking engines offering fares and allowing purchase (not just on GWR, there are 25/12 services uploaded on many routes) a contract is formed. The operator is under an obligation to honour such contract aren't they? ??? :P Replacement taxi? Although it'd be impossible to find a member of staff or Customer Services to organise such. Post by: Alan Pettitt on October 18, 2017, 21:54:02 It would be a bit of a lark (I couldn't think of a better word at the time) if a couple of hundred of us booked it today, with seat reservations, to see what happens. We might have to run our own bus service to the starting point though.

We might have to run our own bus service to the starting point though. It'd be a bit of a challenge to get a couple hundred of us to give up our celebration of the feast of Mithras. Title: Re: What's wrong with this fare? Post by: grahame on October 19, 2017, 05:16:47 Nothing wrong with this fare (to answer the title question) indeed it should be very right - a limited international service running every day of the year between England and The Principallity. Co-incidentally, I received an email from
(http://www.wellho.net/pix/xt14s1.jpg) to invite me to book online: (http://www.wellho.net/pix/xt14s2.jpg) I'm very tempted to nip down to the Cross Buns for a quick liquid refreshment prior to lunch being served. Post by: Timmer on October 19, 2017, 09:10:33 All this because Network Rail is not meeting it's T12 requirement hence the normal timetable still showing. This is also stopping GWR making tickets available for Christmas.
