Title: Onward travel information signs
Post by: grahame on September 29, 2017, 22:52:11
Very curious onward travel sign ... most people travel onwards by plane from this location, yet it looks like the people who put this poster together have completely failed to list all of the places they go to ... just put up the bus and taxi info  :-\

To be fair ... is there any possibility that some people may have flown in to Gatwick Airport, and have gone to the railway station looking for 'onward travel' from there?

And it is named Gatwick Airport station, so not unsafe to assume the obvious primary method of onward travel - those flying will already know their onward travel arrangement so just need to follow signs to the terminals. However, many people arriving at this station will be trying to reach businesses situated in the locality and have no use for the airport, so some info about buses and taxis is probably useful.

Despite having "liked" the original post, only a small percentage of my visits to Heathrow Airport result in a plane journey. I am usually changing from bus to bus / coach / underground. It's a useful bus station with its own airport.
