Maybe something similar should be done for GWR?

As the saying goes, there's always someone worse off then you and that would apply to the good people of Wales. A tired knackered old franchise if there ever was one.

I've not travelled on ATW trains myself, but my daughter (who has, several times until recently), was rather scathing about them.

Her journeys between Bangor and Newport Gwent (onward to Nailsea & Backwell) were mostly through scenic, beautiful and sometimes spectacular landscapes.

But that was the only good point, apparently.  ::)
