Title: Bank holiday running day at Wythall
Post by: chuffed on August 29, 2017, 07:56:16
Spent a most enjoyable day here with trainer yesterday, who was returning to home territory. £12 for admission and unlimited bus rides. Highlights were the 80 year old blue and cream CVP 207 Birmingham outer circle bus, a ride out to Henley in Arden and the final piece de resistance...a Bristol L5G where I sat behind the driver who gave hand signals throughout. I hadn't been on one of those since I was in itchy grey short trousers ( 1962, not the previous day!!). Memories !
