Title: Forthcoming major engineering work Swindon/Chippenham 2017 Post by: philipgreg on February 22, 2017, 15:44:36 Hi
There were new leaflets on the train this morning warning of major work at Swindon in May or June and Chippenham in July. Does anyone know what the impact to services will be? I do hope we won't be back to buses! Title: Re: Forthcoming major engineering work Post by: bobm on February 23, 2017, 08:51:47 There are works to lower the tracks at four locations between Swindon (more accurately Wootton Bassett Junction) and Chippenham.
27th – 29th May, 10th and 11th June and 8th – 16th July. There will be more publicity nearer the time but I will see what advance information I can find and report back.
