Title: Name the Stations from the vowels
Post by: grahame on December 26, 2016, 07:36:48
On the tubs, from the Londonist (http://londonist.com/london/transport/quiz-name-the-tube-station-from-the-vowels)

for example:

A (zone 1) — only station to contain just one vowel.
AE (zone 1) — longest escalator on the network.
AO (zone 1) — shortest escalator on the network.

How many can you work our?

Can you come up with any for GW land?    Example
EA (GWR Station) - only station with a deer in the name?

I like the idea of naming the tubs.  ;D

The first is Bank, the second I assume is Angel, don't know the third (I was going to say Waterloo, but that has an E in it).

In GWR land, the answer has to be M..ELK..sham.  :)

I think there's a misprint in the Londonist's article that I quoted ... I don't believe the shortest escalator's in zone 1.
