And I'd vote that it is Victoria.

The one that looks unconvincing to me is no. 65 - there's no plain 4-track line near Cambridge. Without a guide to OLE varieties (did Ian Allan ever produce one?) I'd say it was WCML. So, where in those parts (and there's lots of them) has Graham been that we know of?

5 is somewhere on the GE Main Line between Stratford and Shenfield as thats pre-MK1 OLE, but I have no idea exactly where..... ::) :P

I now concur that 7 is London Victoria.

I'd add my vote for 7 being Victoria.

Osnabruck HBf is both high and low level. In the sixties the through trains from Hook of Holland to  used to take the link from the low level to high and swap locos for an 01 10 pacific for the run to Hamburg. Real steam action and on a free pass!

Looks to me as though it had been at some point in time as the original 'Inverted V' catenery support arms have been replaced by standard MK3 (or later) ones.

9 I agree as hook of Holland. Aware graham used a Harwich ferry recently which goes to the Hook which further cemented my belief it's the Hook

You're looking pretty much convinced beyond reasonable doubt on most of the pictures ... however there's one that still at the 'speculation' level.   Would it help you to have another picture taken on the same day's round trip from Melksham, last month, at a different place?

Well done everyone - no great surprises in the answers above as you had pretty well deduced everything except 5, and you all knew you were guessing on that one!

Salisbury was a fluke. I'd all but convinced myself it wasn't. Attempted cross referencing with other pictures and I couldn't find any of Salisbury with arched windows and door ways. So, for want of another guess, I plumped for Salisbury.
