Title: Artist at work, Bristol Temple Meads.
Post by: JayMac on October 29, 2016, 13:49:11
Whilst waiting for the 1847 to Avonmouth on Friday 28th October 2016 I was able to watch this chap at work on platform 3 at Bristol TM, composing a charcoal drawing of the scene. A work in progress that looked, to my untrained eye, rather good:

A year or two ago there was a woman on the Brook Road bridge looking over Oldfield Park station painting the scene (it looked a similar sized painting to this one). I saw her there a few times, so she was taking it very seriously, and similarly the painting looked very professional.

Hey, that's no way to talk about BNM even if he wasn't wearing his trademark flat cap !
