Title: A shout out to CfN's favourite town.
Post by: JayMac on October 18, 2016, 22:53:26
Football is down the list of sports I enjoy watching.

But a big congratulations to my hometown team, Taunton Town, getting into the 1st round proper of the FA Cup,  after winning their final qualifying round match (replay) tonight. Quite an achievement for a team at tier 8 of the football pyramid.

They face the mighty Barrow FC, three leagues above them, in the 1st round.

Go Peacocks.  ;D

Whilst there is the obvious prestige, a lot of non-league clubs are run on a shoestring so the prize money comes in handy!

That win being worth £12,500 to Taunton:
