Far from King's Cross, but there is a direct service available.

00.21 secs - after some research I reckon Tornado is at Melksham on 26th June.  ;D

Yep, it's at Melksham; 26th June sounds about right.  First call by a steam powered train (to my knowledge) since the station re-opened in 1985.  The one (and only) call by a heritage steam loco was on 23rd April 2014, by Braunton on its way to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Please note that the September 2016 "Steam Dreams" train that calls at Melksham on its way to Kingswear will be diesel hauled on the TransWilts.
