Title: House and railway for sale
Post by: grahame on May 21, 2016, 21:06:08
Paul Salvesen, who has been described as the "Father of Community Rail", has put his house up for sale ...

From the Huddersfield Examiner (http://www.examiner.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/fancy-house-model-train-railway-11354672?)

Quote
From the outside it^s an unassuming bungalow perched atop a hillside.

But inside it^s every little boy^s dream.

It^s a veritable Aladdin^s cave, filled with railway paraphenalia including a model railway complete with East German locos and carriages in the garden.

But now Prof Paul Salveson, a very well-known figure in the Colne Valley, often known simply as ^Mr Railways^, says he has decided to sell the home in which he has spent the past 18 years.
