Title: Refurbished SWT Class 159s
Post by: PhilWakely on April 18, 2016, 17:28:26
SWT's class 159s (and presumably their 158s) are currently undergoing a refurbishment, with several units already completed. I was at Cranbrook at the weekend doing some photting when a WAT-EXD called. It was formed of two of the refurbished units - 159102 and 159107. What was interesting, however, was that both units have somewhat different liveries. Unit 102 was completed prior to 107 and has what has been colloquially called the 'cracker' finish, whilst 107 has a much more intricate version of the original lines.

Which of these do you prefer?

I prefer the smoother version on the right, and I think SWT must do too because there doesn't seem to have been many more of the 'cracker' version delivered.

Likewise, I prefer the one on the right
