Title: Liskeard to Truro/Redruth 7 day season
Post by: LiskeardRich on April 17, 2016, 19:58:37
Sorry for the simple post, I haven't got internet at my new home yet so going mobile and can't get the season ticket calculator to work on my phone, keeps going to mobile site which doesn't have the season calculator that I can find, and when clicking full site gives display issues.

In the coming week I need to get liskeard to Truro return peak time 5 days and liskeard to Redruth 2 days off peak and I simply need to know whether I'm better buying a liskeard to Truro 7 day season plus 2 x Truro to Redruth off Peak returns or a 7 day liskeard to Redruth ticket. I have a Devon and Cornwall railcard.

Thanks In advance

The coffee shop works lovely on my phone though!

Lets the coffee shop quote some season prices:
7 day liskeard to truro - ^47.90
7 day liskeard to redruth - ^50.60
Hope that helps - not an expert on Devon and Cornwall card to know how to apply it.

P.S. Lovely selection of 3 day + weekend seasons from Liskeard to Truro, but all 1 month minimum.

Thanks Grahame. I have a Redruth Truro return in my railcard wallet, which conforms with the above prices a liskeard - Redruth 7 day will save me a couple of quid.

I'm travelling 7 days this week, normally will be Monday- Friday, in Truro this week,, but next weekend I need to be in Redruth Saturday and Sunday on top of my working week.

My car has broke so I am learning rail commuting,, I don't think the car liked  doing 3500 miles in the last month instead of its normal 400 miles a month!

I find travelling by train so much more productive too.   Caught up on several emails on my way south to Salisbury yesterday, and had a post-meeting meeting on the way back with David and Tina.  What I do miss having cut out my long distance driving is knowing what's going on in Ambridge - tend to know my Westburies (where I seem to change so often!) far better.

It's all rather quiet at the moment. Nothing much happening at all really, if you ignore the storyline that's probably given The Archers more column inches than any since Grace died that is....

I caught up with Facebook and email this morning on the train and this afternoon followed the live text for the football, I couldn't do that driving.
I had through Cornwall barring a 5 min stretch near Bodmin parkway 3G or 4g right through Cornwall today, shocked me as its traditionally been a lot of black spots for signal.

(Tesco, O2 network)

Perhaps O2 might finally be catching up to the sort of coverage and performance levels that EE and 3 have been providing for years.

I can think of numerous times where I've been sat on a train in Devon or Cornwall, streaming Netflix happily on 3 3G, while the person next to me is struggling to do basic tasks on O2 or Vodafone 2G
