You're very welcome to go direct to the images I've quoted which I've put on my website at

and

The original message I received was an email without (as I recall) a link to the same thing on any web site

1. Due to the Christmas period, an extra 28 days is being allowed for consultations

2. A poster went up at one of the Wiltshire stations in error.   Wiltshire changes are as shown in the tables - limited to Bradford-on-Avon, Westbury and Warminster.

Any idea why Cholsey and Cookham appear in both the Major and Minor tables?

Also, the largest change (+7h00m) is in the Minor table, the maximum in the Major table being +5h30m. Confused.

No

Guessing - the 7 hours is one day per week, the 5.5 hours is 5 days per week (so 27.5 hours) ??

I'm informed by GWR Managers that this is simply normalis8ing the current booking hours so that these feature in the franchise - currently, the times quoted in the franchise aren't the actual opening hours.

So - anyone find that the new hours aren't the current actual hours, please report here.

Otherwise it's purely normalising what already exists

Sorry Chris, your statement confuses me. My station currently opens and closes at the times listed in the Current Opening Hours column of the tables.

New hours will apparently be implemented in February.  My station supervisor expressed surprise that I knew of the forthcoming changes and asked me how I was aware.

ok, thanks for this - maybe the Managers I dealt with were referring to only their own patches.

So, you may find at some of these stations that what is proposed is actually already in place & they're purely normalising the situation by amending their franchise to reflect this. So check first before responding to he consultation.
