Title: Over-running engineering work Barnstaple line - 09 Nov 15 Post by: bobm on November 09, 2015, 09:08:00 Problems with a ballast train has meant the Barnstaple branch is closed north of Eggesford until about lunchtime after weekend engineering work.
Usual problems finding buses or coaches in the morning rush hour meant there was no road replacement for the 07:00 train from Barnstaple bar a few taxis. Coaches have been found for the later departures. Speed restriction now lifted to 20mph apparently.

The management always gave in whenever I threatened to get my member out.
