Title: Rail User Groups?
Post by: grahame on October 09, 2015, 07:20:31
An enquiry to me via email "Rail User group(s) - Tamar Valley Line".   So a general question ... are there specific rail user groups for any of the Cornish branches (in addition to / beside the Devon and Cornwall Community Rail Partnership which does great things for these lines)

I am aware of one group connected with the Newquay branch - http://focal.org.uk/ (http://focal.org.uk/)

There is/was a Friends of the Looe Valley line, but I cannot find an on line presence for them.

Some individual stations on the mainline have their own groups - eg Saltash - too.

For Tamar Valley, from the Devon and Cornwall partnership:

The Tamar Valley Line does not have a rail users group but we do run a very active forum which meets three times a year which is made up of local rail users, local authority representatives and the local station management.
