Title: Change of operator - more expensive journey Post by: grahame on August 27, 2015, 09:45:39 I'm noticing with the changes to bus operations in Wiltshire and Somerset a number of comments / complaints that the cost of the same journey has rocketed.
Quote First Bus have withdrawn alot of services recently in Mendip which have been replaced by a number of different operators. So to get to Frome from Wells would now cost ^12 return rather than ^7 as you have 2 different bus operators.... And also for Cross-Trowbidge journeys that used to be on the T1 but are now on two buses And for journeys from Pewsham to Corsham .... And for seniors from Pewsham who's bus passes aren't useable on the current trial service Is this a significant pattern in one direction, or has the cost reduced for others and they're keeping quiet?
