I don't know where there's a full list - but I click on links to them on particular fares on brfares.com

e.g.
http://www.brfares.com/#!fares?orig=MKM&dest=NWP
link to CDR and you get
http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=MKM&dest=NWP&tkt=CDR
which is the text about W1 restriction code.

If you have a ticket already, rather than try for a link somewhere direct to the code, put in the start / end stations and follow the link as above  ;D

If you know the two character restriction code, the text can be looked up at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
